Tools: Glyphs, Adobe Illustrator
Format: Custom display typeface
Scope: Uppercase, lowercase, numbers, symbols, marks; variable version in progress For Display, I designed a complete display typeface from scratch, beginning with hand-drawn illustration sketches to explore the personality and structure of the letterforms. After refining the visual direction, I built the typeface in Glyphs, developing a full character set including uppercase and lowercase letters, numerals, punctuation, and essential diacritic marks. Throughout the process, I focused on maintaining consistent curves, stroke contrast, and stylistic details across all glyphs. The project deepened my understanding of type construction, spacing, and digital font engineering, and I am currently expanding the family into a variable typeface to further explore flexibility and expressive range.
